I recently bought a tin of gulab jamun to take with me to the US. I've always enjoyed these from Kanwarji's since childhood- my absolute favorite! To my excitement, it was still an absolute delight maintaining its deliciousness for so many years! Even after opening it last week, the gulab jamun stayed fresh, soft, and full of flavor for a full seven days. The syrup maintained its rich sweetness, and the texture of the gulab jamun remained perfect—spongy and moist without becoming overly soft or soggy. What impressed me the most was how well the flavor held up over time. Each bite was as delicious as the first day I opened the tin.
